Third order intermodulation on nonlinear dispersive radio-on-fiber links

Abstract

A study of intermodulation distortion was conducted to evaluate system performance of high-power DSB and SSB modulated radio-on-fiber links. Investigation showed that power penalty still exists in SSB system due to nonlinearity and chromatic dispersion.
