Dr Amy Sheppard is a senior lecturer at Aston Optometry School and a UK-registered optometrist. Amy is the course lead for undergraduate optometry programmes (BSc and MOptom) at Aston University. Her research interests are based on ocular accommodation, ophthalmic imaging and the anterior eye. In the field of teaching, Amy has a focus on providing a high quality experience for all students, using innovative methods and she has completed a Master's in Education as well as being recognised as a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
