Fibre dispersion compensation using a chirped in-fibre Bragg grating

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

A linearly chirped in-fibre Bragg grating has been used to compensate for the pulse broadening arising from negative group-delay dispersion in single mode optical fibre. Numerical simulations of the fibre and the Bragg grating produce good agreement with the experiment
